The place was SO fancy! They asked us what kind of WATER did we want? Regular, bottled or perrier?! It was on the expensive side, but it was SO good. Totally worth it in my opinion! A lot of places charge so much and their food taste like crap so I was glad that I enjoyed EVERY single bite. haha

Sorry my FOTD names are laaame but it's been a while! LOL I just realized after I already did it that it looks really similar to my Tickle Me Pink FOTD but whatever! I was in a rush to get ready for work today! FOTD: Eyeko Products!
So I finally got around to playing with the Eyeko shadows I got and I decided to use mostly Eyeko products for this FOTD. Before I get into the FOTD, I wanted to talk about the eyeshadows. I'm going to be honest, these are not the best pigmented eyeshadows. They're actually kind of sheer. BUT! I think the lighter colors make AWESOME highlighters. So there's good and there's bad. The eyeshadow cake reminds me of Pop Beauty Eye Cake eyeshadows if you've ever seen them at Ulta [I think at Sephora too?] They're in a circular tin can and it looks like this:
I looked at the one in Ulta and it's actually REALLY similar to the Eyeko ones - esp the weight and the pigmentation. SO if you were thinking about getting these at all I would definitely recommend buying Eyeko! The Pop shadows are $19, but the Eyeko ones are only 5 British pounds which equals roughly $7 - 8. As you can see, the base just makes it slightly more pigmented. I think these colors are great for beginners who aren't used to super pigmented shadows or if you like to do really soft daytime looks. On to the FOTD! Here's what I used

The Strawberry Fat Balm is my faaaave out of all three balms its the PREEEETIEST cheek color and it doesn't look that bad on the lips. PLUS it smells like heaven. I'll do a separate post on it and the mascara!
FOTD: Barbie Pink
Heyyy! So I know I said I would update more since it's break but it's been crazy with work! But I really liked this FOTD so I haaad to post it [cause I'll probably forget the color combo later!] But I really liked the pink/red/purple look and when I threw on the pink lipstick it reminded me of a barbie doll! It was really simple and it turned out really cute, I think. I wish my camera didn't wash out the colors though because they're always a little brighter in person!

As you already know pink is my favorite color, but I rarely ever do pink make up. For some reason I'm more attracted to greens, blues, and turquoises when I do make up? I know I said I hated Soft Flower from the Ungaro collection because it's sooo sheer, but when I used it over my Fresco Rose P/P, it's gorgeous!! The only thing that's still ehh is that you have to build up the color and it's still not as pigmented as say Sushi Flower, so I did have to apply it 2 or 3 times to get the color that I wanted but I'm growing to love it. =] P/P just make everything so much better lol

I've been posting sporadically lately because of school, but I actually did a FOTD I like - usually I just throw on foundation, blush, and mascara because I'm soo lazy! Plus the hubby's been back so I've been spending time with him. He went to hang out with his friends though so now I have time to play make up! lol Don't mind my close up picture I took the first one when my make up was fresh and the second one at the end of the night when I came home so it kind of faded lol

Oh did I tell you the hubby tripped out when he came home. haha For one, all the stuff I bought in my room is pink [sterilite, lamp, laptop, brush holder, jewelry box, etc] and my make up collection quadrupled since he left. I have a huge sterlite just for my make up and in the top drawer I keep my MAC, second drawer MMU, and third drawer my back ups for make up and lotion. He was like "Is that ALL MAC?!!!" LOL! But here we are after eating sushi! BTW I dyed my hair all one color a really dark brown with reddish undertones. Nobody can really tell but I can tell and I like it. LOL I had to hide my highlights they were growing out and really ugly.
